Seriously, you should take your new cat to the vet. Even if there is no chip, you should check for parasites, worms, fleas, ticks and other random diseases. Seriously, some of the stuff cats carry can be passed on to humans, and I’d hate to see your mom pick something up. Or you.

We plan to, but I’m trying to borrow a cat carrier from my sister. I don’t want to try to wrestle this critter into and out of the car without one.
