Ohtani tied Roy Campanella with RBIs in 9 straight games. Campy did it in 1955.
Stone tomorrow. Really need a strong 6-7 inning start with the bullpen game today.
Definitely.
Not exactly overwhelming, but it'll do.
As Scoop said earlier – the Dodgers with the win are on pace for 100 wins.
Woo-HOO!!’
Awesome job by the bullpen. 7 scoreless innings.
Stars of the game I think. Ohtani not withstanding.
Dodgers win!!
TV between inning stuff says Seager swings at first pitch 52% of the time. Well, ya do or ya don't so 52% doesn't seem like an odd stat. It's binary afterall.
That’s like saying you either win or lose a baseball game so a .500 record doesn’t seem like an odd amount.
The first is a decision the other is a result.
That is an excellent point!
Sure but what is league average?
Apparently only 32%
Work the pitch count approach
June 25, 2022 I was in Minneapolis and saw a Twins game (vs the Rockies).
June 25, 2023 I was in Los Angeles and was watching the Dodgers with RBI and Scoop (and my son).
My 2 year streak of watching a live MLB game on June 25th ended tonight.
I was rooting for Edmonton. I don't like that so many Canadian teams ventured south.
If you are talking about NHL, I was cheering for Florida. Rooting for Edmonton has as much appeal for someone who grew up in the 1980’s in Winnipeg, as cheering for the Giants or Yankees for someone growing up in the 40’s or 50’s in Brooklyn.
I really, really don’t like Edmonton teams. Lol
But I appreciate the sentiment!
I root for the Giants in the post season if the Dodgers are out.
Gnever for the Gnats.
That was great fun last year with you, your son and RBI and her husband at Dodger Stadium.
We were just talking about that tonight! A Dodger highlight last year.
Wow – seems like I’m never around for the games recently – or just the tail end of them. And next week I start working at a kids camp for 2 weeks when I will really be gone.
Anyway – glad to see the Dodgers have the lead here.

Dyslexic?
Will Betts hit second when he gets back?
Eat a cookie Mr. Biggio
Bottoms up.
Has there ever been a worse ballpark name than Guaranteed Rate Field?"
Maybe not, there are a lot of guaranteed rates out there so not much of an ad.
Princess Auto is not exactly great. It’s the name of the stadium where our local CFL handegg team plays.
This is likely to be a Yarbrough game.
Baby the rain must fall
That was last night.
Miller was sweating so much it could be muggy there and it will fall again. If not, maybe the wind will blow.
Less filling Miller Lite version going for the Dodgers tonight.
White Sox and Dodgers have been mentioned multiple times being potential trade partners. As we watch the game today we can see the players often mentioned being potential trade pieces.
Former major league general manager Jim Bowden, writing in The Athletic, seems to think a megatrade is possible between the Dodgers and the majors’ worst team: the Chicago White Sox. Here’s the proposal Bowden put forth:Advertisement
Dodgers acquire CF Luis Robert Jr., LHP Garrett Crochet and RHP Michael Kopech from White Sox for RHP Nick Frasso, LHP Justin Wrobleski, RHP Kyle Hurt, RHP Payton Martin, C Dalton Rushing, OF Andy Pages and SS Emil Morales

I like Robert Jr. but not if it keeps Outman out of CF for the Dodgers.
The only Dodger in that list whom I would not like to see depart is Pages.
The Dodgers are 49-31 with today's game completing the first half of the season. So the Dodgers will be on a pace to win 100 or 98. I wish that Teo was in the starting lineup. Anybody know why not? He's been starting against righties.
He flew to the Dominican because his 94-year-old grandfather was dying.
Thanks for the report.
Until the other day he had actually started in every game, the only Dodger to have done so.

Got home from Fairbanks at 1 am this morning. Dave Winfield was on our flight to Seattle, and I complimented him on the ceremony at the Midnight Sun game. I didn't mention that he bounced the ceremonial first pitch halfway to the plate.
Bobby is overthrowing, getting lit up.

The best.
We are tied.
Are Sosa's fans Lenynists?
Perhaps they should trade him to the Reds.
Ha!

Hurt, Rushing, and Morales are all valuable.
Ridiculous
Wave goodbye.
