Diamondbacks at Dodgers, 7:10PM PT, TV: SPNLA
Clayton Kershaw will start for the Dodgers, who have been bad-to-mediocre at home with a 13-19 record. Kershaw appears to be back to his usual brilliant self, however; he’s 5-2 with a 3.17 ERA; The rookie Chase Anderson will start for the D-Backs. He’s 5-0 with a 3.14 ERA.
Lineup when available.

Good to see Kemp continue his resurgence. Maybe the team can ride him as long as it lasts, which hopefully is the rest of the season–AND postseason.
Eric Stephen at TBLA has a good perspective piece up on him. From it:
“With Kemp’s two hits on Friday, he has five multi-hit games in his last seven contests, and since his 0-for-20 slump during the prolonged transition from center field to left, Kemp is hitting .318/.396/.523 with five extra-base hits in 13 games.”
Small sample size, but nevertheless encouraging.
You wouldn’t think they’d need three pitchers behind Kershaw to wrap up a game, but they won, so okay.
If they don’t see more consistency soon from Wilson, maybe time for him not to pitch the 8th…Howell instead? Wilson said a while back he needed to pitch late innings to be at his best. So….what’s wrong with his picture now?
Anyone heard any progress report on Scott Elbert and his potential return?
Just looking at some video from the game, Gordon has really progressed as a great fielding 2nd baseman – 2 great plays tonight
He & Puig are the truly deserving All Stars from the position players.
Scary, but good win!
any win is a good win 🙂
True!
Uno mas, Kenley!
Get the K or double play!
The bullpen as a whole seem to have problems shutting down the opposition in crucial situations.
DP would be nice
Now the Rockies are in front!
That’s great, but LA has to win their own games.
I know, I know, I just can’t help keeping one eye on the other game 🙂
Totally agree — I think I wrote that when the 3rd run scored for AZ and it looked like what was happening in SF was repeating in LA.
C’mon, Kenley — let’s have an uneventful 9th and start this winning streak!
So much for that — C’mon, Kenley!
Seems strange to take Turner out. Wonder if he is hurt.
Radio hinted at that.
Re: Turner:
Hold the presses — TWO hits with RISP and both get the run!
Then another 0/2 . . . oh well, baby steps . . .
I wonder how many people are going to the Wilson bobblehead night just to collect the tribute?
I guess they would have brought in a righty, but seems like SVS’s spot. (Clayton makes it work out!)
The frustration continues.
Welcome back, AJ!
I only watched occasionally during two weeks in Scandinavia, because games started around 4 or 5 a.m. local time, but I didn’t miss much.
Okay, the winning streak starts today . . . this time, for real!
