Tampa Bay scored a run in the bottom of the 12th to beat Arizona, 8-7.
Arizona put runners on 1st and 3rd with no one out in the top of the 12th but failed to score.
With the scored tied 7-7, Tampa Bay loaded the bases with none out in the bottom of the 11th but failed to score m.

Joc's single scores ghost-runner in Tampa.
Invest in Kopechs…
Seems the exchange rate was very good.
What an incredible turnaround from how he had fared with the Chisox.
Wah-Ooh!! Dodgers Win!!
Time to come up big.
Well we certainly know about that.
Not as much as fans of other teams, though. LA leads the NL in such situations with OPS 1.179. NL average if .824
I am surprised. I would not have guessed we were doing that well.
Devil Rays blow their walkoff chance.
Man on third with one out = failure.
Kopech for the save?
Kershaw threw 70 pitches through 6 shutout innings. So why did Doc pull him?
His MO is to yank early rather than late. Apparently a source of friction between him and Klayton over the years.
Pitch count? He's only returned recently, not really built up, would've been third time through order.
Probably had him penciled in for mid-80s, which he might have exceeded if he had pitched in the seventh. Very cautious on Doc's part.
Especially given the Dodgers' pitching issues, it makes sense to exercise caution.
Hudson has been shaky lately.
Yes.
In his last 7 games, Hudson is 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA in 6 innings. Has allowed 5 earned runs with 2 BB and 3 SO. Not counting inherited runners he may have allowed to score. Not very good.
Usually starts the inning, so has had only 4 IR all season (only one scored), none in past seven games
Devil Rays uncomfortably close to getting Snakebit.
And then Snakes tie it on a three-run dinger off Devils' closer.
Rox Rookie SS has 12-pitch AB, doubles to give Denver 1-0 lead.
The guys who pushed Mookie out of the infield bring him home.
Devil Rays stinging Snakes 6-0 after six. OK, Rox, now it's your turn.
Gavin is a treasure.
Dang. Ohtani won’t be able to get a stolen base that at bat.
This will be our big inning.
Does one run now qualify as a big inning?
For the Dodgers, perhaps, but there is more to come.
So, is two a crooked number?
Kershaw: 41 pitches the four innings.
91 fastball, but well located
Amed is now a Red.
Gavin doing the Freddie
The three hole is in good hands
Kershaw: 22 pitches through two innings.
No eyes, no ears, but looking at Yahoo it appears that Kershaw had a solid first inning. Any balls hit real hard?
Not sharp, but got a key DP.
Yes. It’s the lead hand.
Late to the game and requesting same info.
Good news department: Regardless of what happens today, we return home tomorrow in first place for a nine-game homestand in 11 days: Mariners, Rays and Orioles.
Lux .299 in July, .300 thus far in August. He's now on a 6-for-14 run.
Today in Dodgers History

1959 Longtime baseball executive Branch Rickey is named the president of the newly formed Continental League. The 77-year-old former Dodger general manager is an advisor to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
1982 In the franchise's second-longest game in terms of innings, the Cubs lose to the Dodgers, 2-1. The six-hour and 10-minute Wrigley Field contest, played over two days, ends with Dusty Baker's sacrifice fly that plates Steve Sax and 21 innings to complete.
(Ed. Note: In 1927, the Cubs beat Boston 4-3 at Braves Field in a 22-inning marathon. -LP)
Woo-HOO! I was in Costa
Mesa with my granddaughter to watch Peter Pan. I was scared to peek but Kersh pulled it off! Woot!
Rockies beat the Padres, 3-2. Three-game lead over San Diego, four over Arizona.
Miggie es un tesoro.
Freddie's finger is hurting, so he's out of the lineup for who knows how long?

Middle finger on his right (throwing) hand.
Risky also when batting.
