  2. Left the restaurant just as bottom of ninth started. Disappointed on arrival home.

  3. A bloop and a blast, or I guess in this case a walk and a knock, would be great here.

  4. The offence is feast or famine lately. And tonight, so far, it’s not exactly hanging out at the buffet table.

  5. It’s sad to think this could be Burhler’s last year with the Dodgers. If the front office wins the Rōki Sasaki sweepstakes, I don’t think they resign Buehler as well.

  6. Feel like Buehler might be rounding a corner. I’m hoping tonight and going forward this season we should see some reliably good to great pitching from Walker.

  7. I am ready for the Dodgers to open another can of whoop-a** tonight. It tastes good.

  8. Missed yesterday’s game as we went for a glacier-gazing and whale-watching excursion. Somebody had dropped a Gnats COVID mask on deck but, despite my revulsion, I couldn’t let it pollute the waters of Prince William Sound. After picking it up gingerly by the threads and dropping it into the garbage, I disinfected and then washed my hands as thoroughly as possible.

In the battle of baseball’s cheatingest franchises, Gnats and Trashtros will play the rubber game today.

  9. Dodgers tie franchise record with 4 home runs in one inning

Here are all the Dodgers’ four-homer innings in franchise history:

August 8, 2000: Kevin Elster, Darren Dreifort, Gary Sheffield, and Shawn Green all went deep in the fourth inning against the Cubs. Dreifort, who started the game on the mound, homered twice that night at Dodger Stadium.

September 18, 2006: Jeff Kent, J.D. Drew, Russell Martin, and Marlon Anderson homered consecutively to start the bottom of the ninth inning against the Padres.

August 22, 2016: Andrew Toles, Rob Segedin, Corey Seager, and Adrían González all went deep in the fifth inning in Cincinnati. González hit three home runs and drove in eight in an 18-9 Dodgers win over the Reds.

September 5, 2016: Joc Pederson, Corey Seager, Justin Turner, and Yasmani Grandal each hit home runs in the fifth inning against the D-backs at Dodger Stadium.

September 29, 2021: Down 9-6 in the eighth inning, Max Muncy, AJ Pollock, Cody Bellinger, and Corey Seager all homered to take an 11-9 lead over the Padres.

June 11, 2024: Corey Seager, who homered in each of the Dodgers’ previous three four-homer innings, did not play for the Rangers on Tuesday, still nursing a hamstring injury. But he was present and active at Dodger Stadium, where he got a nice ovation before his first game back as an opponent.

  10. Dodgers in agreement with Toronto on a trade sending Cavan Biggio to the Dodgers for minor league relief pitcher Braydon Fisher. Someone will have to go down or be released. Biggio has played 1B, 2B, 3B, and LF this season. Hitting .200 with 2 homers.

Could this be the end of the line for KT3?

    • Would seem so, if he shows anything (doesn’t have to be much). Lefty would pair well with Quique as utility guys. But, first Vargas goes down.
