  1. Gotta feel pretty good when the first guy you see in your MLB career is Nolan Arenado and you strike him out.

Oh, wait. This was the 14th game of his career.

  2. I think it may be time to DFA Thompson.
Well Trayce, thanks for playing. And, now the lovely Carol Merrill will show you your parting gifts behind door #3.

  3. Back from Tripler AMC where I had a blood draw and two CT scans (head/neck and chest). Results next week.

Re: the Dodgers’ history, it is indeed average. I had to go to rotosheet to find something, because when I went to my usual source for that material here’s what I saw:

  4. Anyway, at least the first half of this game is going better than yesterday.

  5. Longest – and on paper the hardest – road trip of the year for the Dodgers. I would be fine with a 5-4 record.

  6. TBay trying to stay as good as Oakland is bad – but it’s hard to keep up:
    Rays: 33-13
    A’s: 10-35

  7. Normally I can understand the significant or special moment for the Today in Dodger History. But today’s inclusion seems just a little average.

    • Evidently a slow day in Dodger history. Maybe we can make history tonight.

    • Has he gotten a hit this month yet or is he still on his hitless streak?

      • No hits in May. Except for one big game he has been less than useless.
