  1. Barnes has become relatively useless as a batter. Maybe he will turn it around a bit, but I am not confident about that.

    • Barnes would be a full-time starter for quite a few teams, including contenders.

    • Kind of saw it coming when they posted the lineup. Oh well, won the series. Keep winning series and we will finish first.

    • There were no highlights (well, Bickford did throw two more scoreless innings with lots of strikes).

  2. Dodgers have had lots of traffic tonight. But they have been tied up on the Freeway still waiting to make it home.

  3. No Bellinger, Muncy, Seager, Smith or Turner in tonight’s lineup against a very good pitcher. That put us behind the 8-ball from the start.

  4. For what it’s worth, the Portuguese “Souza” is pronounced identically to the Spanish “Sosa.”

  5. Phillies are very aggressive tonight. Kersh as may need to change up his pitching sequences a little.

  6. MLBTV is on sale for $52.99 for the rest of the season (post-season not included, unless you’re overseas).

  7. Not terribly optimistic with this line up going against a pretty good pitcher. Why is Turner not in the line up? He has actually hit Wheeler well. Oh well, fingers crossed.

  8. Newly acquired Souza is a local hero for an amazing catch of a fly ball in 2014. Last game of the season and final out to give Jordan Zimmermann a no-no.
