Brewers at Dodgers, 7:10PM PT, TV: SPNLA, FSWI
The opposing pitchers today have known one another for more than ten years, as teammate, roomie, and good friend. Mike Bolsinger of the Dodgers brings his 1-4, 5.76 ERA to bear against the Brewers’ Chase Anderson, who’s 4-6 with a 4.42 ERA.
They lived together from their time in Double-A up to their rookie seasons in Arizona. Bolsinger was the best man at Anderson’s wedding in 2013. When Bolsinger married in January, Anderson was in the wedding party.
They want to beat each other, of course.

Whee!
We win.
(aka – I can go to bed now.)
I would be content if Turner had 3 rbi’s every game from here on out.
And if A-Gon kept up his recent hitting. And if Pederson went 1-4 every night. And if Seager did the same or a little more.
In case you weren’t listening at the start of the game, Vin announced Monday night’s matchup as Kershaw v. Steven Spielberg.
Nice to have some breathing space
Long long game. But hopefully the margin of runs holds from here.
further forth we go
Turner continues to present evidence that he’s back.
And how!
Say goodnight and good luck Mr. Bolsinger.
another back and forth game is in store it appears
Perhaps more back than forth from the Dodgers perspective.
I take it all back. Forth here we come.
Howie!
Adrian needs some Red Bull to help him go faster.
Or perhaps speed…
Ground rule double probably cost us a run.
The Dodgers are hitting ..232 overall, second worst in the NL. The club is batting .204 in June, worst in the majors. We hit .241 in April and .239 in May. The ERA is 3.37, fourth best in the league. It was 3.66 in April, 3.18 in May and is 3.25 in June. Our fielding percentage is .987, third best.
Shades of 1962-1966!
I recall, in 1966 I think it was, that Drysdale led the team in HRs at the All-Star break.
Woo hoo, to borrow a phrase from RBI; Joc is leading off.
I would like to see the youngsters bunched together, not because it would be a better lineup, just because they might get a kick out of it.
Joc, Trace, Cory, Justin, Agon, etc. etc.
