  1. A lot of frustrating losses, but all in all, May has not been as bad as it seemed to us. We win today and the month would be the equivalent to a 92 win pace,

    • Only the second time we have been shutout this season. For all the early season scoring we had last year, by this time then (52 games), we had been shutout 5 times.

  2. I feel a minimum of sadness about today’s game. Winning the series in NYC has a one game goodwill carry over I guess.

  3. Alex Guerrero might not be able to help this team.

But it seems his batting would fit right in.

  4. Harry Caray was occasionally entertainingly senile – “Mike Pizza” or “Delino DeSanders,” anyone? – but I certainly don’t miss him.
