Cashman of NYY halfway made a pitch for Chipper to unretire and don pinstripes. (Don’t think I even knew Chipper’s real name is Larry until this piece.)
Ain’t a gonna happen, as Cashman and about everybody else would expect.
BUT… if NYY are all that desperate for a 3B, the Dodgers could fill the void. Future Yankee even hit a 3-run HR the other day. (Maybe the last for a long, long time, but hey….)
