How oblivious can you be?

So the CBO sez the “new improved” Senate health care bill will only throw 22 million Americans by 2026 if enacted as is, down from the House’s 23 million.

Huzzah?

Even more startling, 15 million of those 22 million would lose insurance in 2018.

So let me get this straight. In order to give a ginormous tax cut to the richest people in America, the Republican Party and the President of the United States are willing to deny access to health care to the poorest people in the country. And it’s a twofer, because that Party has hated Medicare and Medicaid “entitlement” programs since the day the legislation which created them was passed in 1965, and now is its best chance to destroy them. Of course, thousands of Americans will die for lack of health care, but that’s unimportant to these men.

About 28,600 more people could die every year in the US if a proposed Senate health care bill becomes law, suggests a review of medical studies released on Monday.

What sort of country is this?
