Trumped, I hope.

If the polls are accurate Trump has done real damage to his campaign in the last week or so. It’s kind of sad for Billy Bush that his passive behavior on that Access Hollywood tape was cause for termination by NBC and kind of startling that Trump’s active voice on that same tape was still not enough for his party to repudiate him. Then there’s the “I may or may not accept the results of the election” statement Trump made during the third debate the other night. That’s one of the key parts of American democracy: that the loser faces the fact that he lost and supports the winner. To hear a candidate of a major political party, even a vulgar talking yam, say otherwise seems to have disconcerted the rank and file, who appear to be dropping support for him.

Secretary Clinton’s enemy right now would appear to be complacency on the part of her Democrats. The goal should be to win the downballot races both in the US House and Senate and in state legislatures and Governors’ offices as well.

  1. From all accounts, Billy Bush was very disliked and not much better than Drumpf so there were no tears when they let him go. Fingers crossed on the down ballot races…..I cannot wait until November 9 and all this is more or less behind us. Have you seen any of the Curt Shilling stuff out of Boston? BIG Drumpf supporter (surprise, surprise) has declared he is going to run against my beloved Elizabeth Warren (someone needs to tell him that baseball skills do not necessarily equate intelligence), held a rally for drumpf on Saturday and maybe 10-15 people showed up. Love it………….. 🙂
