You know one of the band’s songs

But you probably haven’t heard them cover this. We Five was a pretty short-lived band out of San Francisco whose biggest hit was unquestionably “You Were On My Mind,” a remake of a song composed and sung by Ian and Sylvia on their 1964 album “Northern Journey.”

We Five released two wonderful albums and then lost their lead singer, the wondrous Beverly Bivens, to retirement from show business. They tried to carry on and they did release two or three more records, but none were even close to these.

This might even make you forget Bobby Darin’s version.
