I just wrote a check to my dentist for a cleaning/exam/x-ray visit last month. I recorded the check into this register.
Notice anything “off” about this?

Well. My first thought is, “who uses checks anymore?” The second thought I had was, when I do have to write a check, log it on the back of the check book until the next time I open quicken so I don’t even know where my register is or if I even have one…. So is any of that what’s wrong? Other than the dates are 10 years old? 😉
The last sentence is the correct answer. I write so few checks anymore that I’m still only about 2/3 through an eleven-year-old register. I noticed it today and it amused me.
