Washed two loads of clothing, emptied the dishwasher, endured an hour of heavy rain, went to two different stores in search of flying insect killer, missed the deadline for the “Car Wash Saturday” fundraiser at the church down the hill, listened to the U of Hawai’i blow a sure win with two minutes left in the game, saw bits of the Mets beating the Cubs, and tired myself out so much we had pancakes for dinner rather than burgers and home fries.

The only positive thing was the U of Arizona coming back to beat Colorado, and that was tempered by the fact that Hawai’i beat the Buffaloes in the first game of the season, so I don’t think they’re very good.
