McConnell defeats Bevin in Kentucky Senate primary.

Well, it was probably too much to hope for. It sure would have made Alison Grimes’s chances of winning in November easier if she got to run against a complete loony like Bevin rather than the tough old bird Mitch McConnell is.

After tonight’s primaries she and McConnell are in a virtual tie in the polls.
