Half the economic activity in the country takes place in a dozen or so cities, yet our friends in the Republican party always claim “Real America” is out there in the middle of the country among the cornfields. The worst of it is, places like Wyoming have the same votes in the Senate as California, even though the population of the former is about 1/30th of the latter.
