  1. Oops. Although I had to Google Lynne to find out why he’s important. He co-produced the Petty album which had this song on it, as it turns out (per Wikipedia).

  2. Yeah, I’m pretty sure this album was technically considered a solo album. Some of the Heartbreakers appear, e.g., Mike Campbell plays lead on this track, but a lot of other folks played on it, too, like Lynne and Harrison, and that’s Mr. Starkey playing drums there in the video. Such a terrific album. It’s also sort of the proto-Wilburys album.
    If you didn’t know who Jeff Lynne was, may I suggest tracking down some stuff by the Move, the British invasion band he was a part of that eventually morphed into ELO. They put out some terrific songs in their day. I can even send you a couple of tracks if you like.
