  1. If think it would be fitting (and helpful) if the d – backs now walk it off the Giants in the 9th to complete the comeback (please) 🙂

  2. Josiah Gray had a very good first outing for the Nats (gnot the Gnats) tonight (Monday). Five innings, only four hits (one a solo homer) and two walks. Left trailing, but DC later took the lead.

  3. The average score for this series was basically 9-3. Too bad Dodgers couldn’t have swept!
(But they are 11-2 vs AZ so far this season – so it’s not too tough to swallow.)

  4. Seems odd that we are resting Muncy today when we are off tomorrow and again on Thursday.

    • Before this series, they had won seven of their last ten, and they’ll be getting some post-COVID reinforcements.

  5. Just saw this on ESPN. Since 1995, teams in first place going into August finish first 72% of the time.

  6. Dodgers currently 3.5 back of San Fran. Although that should change back to 3 within the hour.

  7. Gotta keep piling it on. You know Doc is going to want to play with his new toy. Yefry Ramirez.

  8. Mckinstry:
    Last 7 days, 000, 0-for-8
    Last 14 days, .071, 1-for-14
    Last 28 days, .111, 5-for-45.

  9. Yefry Ramirez, 27, the newest addition to our bullpen. He is a righty. In 15 games with OKC this season: 5.94 ERA, 1.524 WHIP, 3-3. MLB career: 30 games with the Orioles and Pirates, all in 2018 and 2019, 1-10, 6.32 ERA, 1.628 WHIP, signed as a free agent in March.

  10. Pujols as a Dodger against lefties: .324/.359/.595/.954, 6 HRs, 27 RBIs, 10 Ks, 2 BBs, in 74 ABs.

  11. Great to have Betts and Seager in the lineup together. Betts is at second base, where he has played 17 innings since 2014.
