My radiation appointment was scheduled to end at 11:30. I thought I’d have plenty of time to write up a preview of this game. My radiation oncologist didn’t like the swelling in my left foot and sent me for ultrasounds. At 4:00 I was finally able to leave.

No blood clots, chest xray looks “better than it did a couple of weeks ago.” “Doc. let it go!” I’m gonna start blaming this horrific hospital bed the VA sent; its mattress pad is 1/4″ thick and slides like crazy. I can’t sleep worth a damn on it.

Pleased to learn that that are no blood clots and that your X-ray shows improvement. As far as sliding like crazy, think Maury Wills.
