Game 100, 2019

Marlins at Dodgers, 7:10 PM PDT, TV: FS-F, SPNLA

The Marlins give the ball to RHP Zac Gallen (0-1, 4.24 ERA), who’ll make his fifth major league start. In his last one he went five innings, struck out five, walked five and gave up two runs. The Dodgers counter with LHP Hyun-Jin Ryu (10-2, 1.78 ERA), who’s made 18 starts and given up two earned runs or fewer in all but one. In his last start he went seven innings against the Red Sox, gave up two runs and didn’t figure in the decision as the Dodgers won in the 12th inning.

Kershaw was being interviewed as Matt Beaty hit his HR yesterday:

Today in Dodgers’ history:

  • 2017 CT3, Kiké and Seager each hit home runs as the Dodgers defeated the White Sox in a rain-shortened interleague game in Chicago behind Kenta Maeda’s five strong innings and two innings of relief from Ross Stripling.

    • I look forward to your NPUT that will arrive about midnight Friday in Italy. Game time will be about 3:15 a.m Sunday here. I will not stay up, however.

  1. The only thing about San Fran in their hot streak right now is that maybe the don’t get younger players at the deadline – thus keeping them tied into their old players longer. Fool’s gold for them right now.

    • Even from Italy I see that it seems to be homer or bust for both him and Bellinger lately.

  2. It’s 6:50 a.m. in Italy and it’s time (to wake up) for Dodger baseball. Good morning everyone. I have slept through nearly all this game. Literally.

  3. Well at least they scored. But not doing themselves any favours tonight.

    • Slightly better future person. Meanwhile, game in Seattle increasingly interesting.

  4. Two down the middle he let’s go but then swings at one above his shoulders. Not a great ab from Belli.

    • It’s a start. Now they need to find reasons to put most of the rest of the bullpen on the IL.

I hadn’t realized Sadler was back at OKC.
