Game 135, 2016

Padres at Dodgers, 6:10PM PT, TV: SPNLA, FSSD

The Dodgers ask lefty Rich Hill (10-3, 2.09 ERA) to make his second start for them. Lingering blister troubles kept him off the mound for a month after he was acquired at the trade deadline. He’ll face RHP Luis Perdomo (7-7, 5.84 ERA). The rookie pitched his first complete game his last time out and got six double plays in the game to help him do it. That shouldn’t have been a surprise; his ground ball rate is 60%, the highest in the NL.

Kershaw is pitching a three-inning or 50-pitch rehab start for Rancho Cucamonga today.

Lineup when available.

  1. Feels like I missed everything good in the game. Hill’s pitching, Grandal’s hr – and wonder of wonders – Reddick’s hr! Not much left except wrap it up.

  2. Such a fun pitching weekend for the Dodgers: Urias, Hill and JDL. Plus 3 innings of 1 hit, 5 k pitching by Kershaw. Feather in the hat of the guy who got the hit – even if it was just a high chopper out in front of the plate.
