Gordon tested positive for “exogenous Testosterone and Clostebol, performance-enhancing substances, in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program,” MLB said in a written statement released after midnight ET on Friday.
I assume there’s no recourse because it would be a huge can of worms for MLB, but he’s the guy who got the game-tying hit tonight to knock Maeda out of the game.

It’s always easier when it is the “bad” guys who do this. Love this kid. He seemed really animated and all smiles during the series, all the time knowing that this was in the offing, enjoying the last few moments of playing a game he loves. Loves so much that he was willing to take the risks of using drugs to enhance his performance so that he could stick in the Bigs and play at a higher level.
