Law & Order Canceled?

Then "Try to Remember," sung by one of its most enduring stars. Yes, that's Jerry Orbach, who originated the role of El Gallo in The Fantasticks.

"Law and Order's" theme music is about as recognizable as there is on TV these days. It was composed by Mike Post, who also wrote that other iconic TV theme, Hill Street Blues.

Orbach had a wonderful voice. I think he also had the lead in the musical of She Loves Me, which closed quickly on Broadway in the mid-60's.

Thanks for sharing the full version of the Law & Order theme. I don't think I've ever heard it which is a shame as it is a very good piece of music.

Guess I'm going to have to spend some time on YouTube looking up theme music to some of my favorite TV programs.

Speaking of favorite TV programs, are you interested at all in the remake of "Hawaii 5-0"? I figure I'll have to watch at least the first couple just to see how well Daniel Day Kim fits into the program.

Kinda sorta interested. I'm a little disappointed they cast so few Hawai'i actors. OTOH, if the premise is that the lead is McGarrett's son, then they pretty much have to have a haole actor for the part.
